The National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan is organizing the online exhibition of Erasmus+ projects implemented in Kyrgyzstan. The event will be held on 5 November 2020 and will be conducted online at Zoom at 14.00.
The aim of the event is to demonstrate and to provide visibility to results and achievements of capacity building and academic exchange projects implemented by Kyrgyz higher education institutions in partnership with other institutions from Europe and partner countries.
The online fair also will promote exchange of experience and best practices among working teams on implementation of Erasmus+ capacity building and academic exchange projects, rising awareness on Erasmus+ Programme for wider stakeholders.
The event is hosted by the National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan with the support of EU Delegation to Kyrgyzstan, Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and higher education institutions.
Erasmus+ is the EU funded Programme in the field of education, training, youth and sport. In Kyrgyzstan the programme supports higher education modernization process through capacity building and academic exchange components.
Academic exchange: 348 proposals have been submitted with involvement of Kyrgyz higher education institutions and out of that, 195 projects have been selected for funding. The number of students and teaching staff participated in the academic exchange accounts for 912 people (2014-2019).
Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree component: 70 students have been awarded by Erasmus+ scholarship and selected for studies at master degree programme since 2014 till 2019.
Capacity building in higher education: 18 projects have been selected and funded by the programme on different aspects of higher education and reformation process.
