On December 3, 2021, the National Erasmus + Office in Kyrgyzstan monitored the Erasmus + project “Development of doctoral studies and research potential of scientists in Kyrgyzstan (DERECKA)”.

The purpose of monitoring is to assess the project management strategy and the degree of its implementation, as well as to identify successful experiences.

Let us remind you that the aim of the project is strengthening and expand PhD system in Kyrgyzstan. According to project type, the DERECKA is a national project, 7 Kyrgyz and 4 European universities are involved in the implementation of the project. It should also be noted that the Erasmus + DERECKA project is the first project, where the coordinator is a Kyrgyz university.

During the monitoring, a report was presented, which reflected all the activities carried out within the framework of the project, the results achieved to date, as well as the documents developed. By all indicators, the project has shown excellent results, despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event was attended by representatives of all partner universities, including European partner universities.
