On December 6-7, 2023, Osh State University hosts the seminar “Development of Financial Autonomy of Universities in Kyrgyzstan” of the DEFA project under the Erasmus+ program, which aims to explore the prospects for increasing the financial, and economic independence of universities in Kyrgyzstan.
Participants-partners of the project discuss Strategies for the development of the financial autonomy of universities and Roadmap for the implementation of the model of financial autonomy of universities in the Kyrgyz Republic, consider the mechanisms of personnel selection and staffing on the experience of OVGU, as well as hear reports from partner universities, summarize the activities of the DEFA project for the first year and make a plan for further action.
The workshop is being held in a hybrid format (offline and online).
The project consortium includes 12 universities of Kyrgyzstan, 2 international educational institutions of Germany, Italy, and Italian public organizations.
It should be remembered that KSTU named after I. Razzakov is a grantholder and overall coordinator of the project in Kyrgyzstan.
The project is funded by the ErasmusPlus program of the European Union.
