On 6th of April 2021, the National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan conducted the field monitoring visit to Erasmus+ “Developing Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Programmes and Strengthening Research Networks in Geoinformation Technologies in Armenia and Kyrgyzstan (GeoTAK)” project, which was held on the basis of the Kyrgyz State University of Geology, Mining and Natural Resources Development n.a Academic U. Asanaliev.

Dr. Akylbek Maralbaev, Rector made a welcoming speech and noted the importance and relevance of the project for the development of Kyrgyzstan.

Due to the fact that the Kyrgyz State University of Geology, Mining and Natural Resources Development is participating in the implementation of the project for the first time, at the beginning of the monitoring, Ms. Gulnara Chokusheva, the National Coordinator of the Erasmus+ Programme in Kyrgyzstan acquainted participants with the goals and requirements of monitoring and reporting.

Prof. Luis Angel Ruiz Fernández (Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain), Project coordinator was present online and presented the main goals of the project. Then, according to the agenda, Prof. Dr. Akylbek Chymyrov presented a brief report on the implementation of the project at KSUSTA. Mr. Bekbolot Attokurov, made presentation about the implementation of the project by the KSMU team. Ms. Gulshaan Ergeshova presented the report on the implementation of the project at OshTU.

The monitoring was attended by the representatives of academic and non-academic partners.
