On 12 June 2026, the National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan proudly celebrated a significant achievement as members of its team and the Higher Education Reform Experts (HERE) group were awarded Letters of Appreciation by the Minister of Science, Higher Education and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The letters were presented to the National Coordinator of the Erasmus+ Programme in Kyrgyzstan, the Project Manager of the National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan, and members of the Higher Education Reform Experts group in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the development of higher education in the country.
The Letters of Appreciation acknowledge their dedicated efforts in the design and implementation of international educational projects, their active support for improving the quality of higher education, and their valuable role in strengthening international cooperation and academic partnerships.
Over the years, the National Erasmus+ Office and the HERE experts have worked closely with higher education institutions, national authorities, and international partners to promote educational innovation, capacity building, academic mobility, quality assurance, digital transformation, and the internationalisation of higher education in Kyrgyzstan. Their work has contributed to aligning national higher education practices with international standards and creating new opportunities for students, academic staff, and institutions across the country.
This recognition reflects the collective efforts of the Erasmus+ community in Kyrgyzstan and highlights the importance of continued collaboration between national stakeholders and international partners in advancing higher education reforms and fostering sustainable development.
