May 25, 2016 in Bishkek Academy of Finance and Economics was held a project monitoring UNIWORK “Strengthening Career Centres in Central Asia Higher Education Institutions to empower graduates in obtaining and creating quality employment”with representative of the EACEA, Ms. Anne SPANGEMACHER and Ms. Gulnara Chokusheva, National Coordinator of ERASMUS+ Office in Kyrgyzstan. The project monitoring attended the working groups of the Universities of Kyrgyzstan: Bishkek Academy of Finance and Economics, Talas State University, Osh Technological University.

Universities-partners presented the results of the project for 3 years.

During the presentations, by the representatives of universities was noted that the project contributes the development of a national strategy to increase youth employment and the development of a culture of entrepreneurship in Kyrgyzstan, and the activities undertaken with the financial support of the project, helped to stimulate linkages between universities and the business sector.

With the joint efforts of the consortium project UNIWORK were prepared the materials for publication, containing recommendations for all interested stakeholders to improve the employment situation of young people in the country, which contributes the dissemination of the project results at the national and regional levels.

By preliminary results of monitoring, Mrs. Anne SPANGEMACHER and Mrs. Gulnara Chokusheva have given appreciation to results of the project, coordination of work of members of Consortium of the project, visualization of activity of the project and strengthening of a role of the Centers of Career in higher education institutions of Kyrgyzstan were noted.
