On 8 December 2017, on the basis of the ADAM University a monitoring of the Erasmus+ project “European Dimension in Qualifications for the Tourist Sector” (EURDIQ) took place.
Two Kyrgyz universities take part in this project: the University of ADAM and the Issyk-Kul State University. All participants were greeted by Ms. Gulnara Chokusheva – the National Coordinator of the Erasmus + program in Kyrgyzstan, who voiced the goals and tasks of monitoring, which is assessing the project current implementation process and obtaining information about the results.
The monitoring was attended by representatives of partner universities from Kyrgyzstan, furthermore Ms. Gunare ML – the project coordinator and Ms. Vasilyeva EV – project manager took a part at the meeting through videoconference system.
During the monitoring, working groups of Higher Education Institutions of Kyrgyzstan presented reports on the activities carried out within the framework of the project. Also partners presented the dissemination strategy and discussed main factors, which are influencing to the project’s implementation.
Upon completion of the monitoring, the National Coordinator of the Erasmus + program in Kyrgyzstan, Ms Gulnara Chokusheva, made a preliminary opinion on the monitoring and positively noted the teamwork of the project team, the importance of the results obtained for the development of the education system and the tourism industry in Kyrgyzstan, the innovative idea of creating a network training program by the universities of Kyrgyzstan, Russia and the EU, and also gave some recommendations.
The results of the project were highly appreciated.
