On November 11, 2019 The National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan organized an Information Session for staff and students on Erasmus+ opprortunities for HEIs and individuals at the Ala-Too International University, was held.
Welcoming speech was made by Mr. Erdolatova S.S., the Rector of the MUA, he focused on the fact that internationalization is one of the most important conditions for the sustainable development of the university. Thanks to the active participation of the International Department and the teaching staff in writing project proposals for Erasmus +, the university holds a leading position in academic mobility projects in Kyrgyzstan. Erasmus + projects make a significant contribution to providing quality student education and training.
During the event, the participants were introduced to the key components of the Erasmus + program, such as International Credit Mobility (short-term academic exchange), Capacity Building in Higher Education, as well with criteria for evaluating and selecting project applications.
Information was provided for students on how they can apply for Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree, application procedures, and opportunities for Erasmus + scholarship holders.
