Information Day of Erasmus+ Programme in Kyrgyzstan has taken place on 5 November 2015 on the basis and with support of the Kyrgyz State Technical University. The aim of the information day was to inform about Erasmus+ Programme (goals and objectives of the programme, results of the first call), new Call for Proposals, structure of application form and evaluation criteria of the project proposals, novelties, submission procedure and selection, financial and technical issues of the Call. Also detailed information about components of Erasmus+ Programme such as International Credit Mobility, Joint Master Degrees, Capacity building for higher education, Jean Monnet, Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions were presented. The keynote speakers of the Information Day were Ms. Roisin McCabe, Programme Manager, Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), European Commission, Brussels, Belgium, and Coordinator of National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan, Ms. Gulnara Chokusheva.

The Information Day was attended by over 150 representatives of HEIs from Bishkek and 6 regions of Kyrgyz Republic, representatives of the EU Delegation to Kyrgyzstan and Ministry of Education and Science of KR, and others. Participants had a great opportunity to ask questions to EACEA Project manager and establish cooperation with other universities.

Representatives meeting of the new Erasmus+ projects (1th Call For Proposals) with Ms. Roisin McCabe was held at the end of Information day. Requirements to the implementation of contracts, reporting and other issues were discussed during the meeting.
