On April 29, 2026, the National Erasmus+ Office in the Kyrgyz Republic participated in the information event entitled “Sustainable Development and the Implementation of Green and Digital Technologies at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.”
The event was organized by the Office of Green and Digital Technologies of the Diplomatic Academy within the framework of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education project “Green and Digital Universities for Sustainable Development of Kyrgyzstan (GreenKG)” and the initiative “Caravan of the Green and Digital University.”
The main objective of the event was to familiarize the academic community and partner organizations with the current and planned initiatives of the Diplomatic Academy in the field of sustainable development, as well as to discuss the integration of green and digital technologies into the educational process.
The programme brought together representatives of higher education institutions, international organizations, and project partners to exchange experiences and explore innovative approaches to advancing sustainability in higher education. Participants were introduced to the Academy’s efforts to embed environmental responsibility and digital transformation into institutional development and academic activities.
The National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan was pleased to take part in this important event and to support the dissemination of project results under the Erasmus+ programme. The GreenKG project serves as an excellent example of how Erasmus+ fosters cooperation among higher education institutions and contributes to the modernization of universities in Kyrgyzstan through the promotion of sustainable development and digital innovation.
