On December 4, 2018 The scientific and practical conference on the theme: “Promotion of quality culture in higher education in Kyrgyzstan: the search for effective practices” was held on the basis of hotel “Hyatt Regency”.
The event was organized by the University of Adam with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Fund for them. Konrad Adenauer and ERASMUS+ Project “Development of Bachelor and Master Programs in Sustainable Tourism in Open Education in China, Vietnam and Kyrgyzstan (LMPT)”, funded by the European Union.
The purpose of the conference was to discuss topical issues in the field of ensuring the quality of education, the role of independent accreditation in the quality assurance system of higher education in the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the conference participants discussed development of regulatory documents on quality assurance of education in educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic, the role of independent accreditation agencies in the development of the national system of education quality assurance, reviewed best practices for the selection of experts for independent accreditation
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, the National Accreditation Council, representatives of more than 20 higher education institutions, 4 independent accreditation agencies, employers’ associations, educational organizations, national and international experts.
