The Ministry of Education and Science with the support of the National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan is planning a winter seminar for 25 scientists from Kyrgyzstan next January.

The goal of the seminar is to train 25 scientists to write articles for the Scopus database and Web of Science.

Participation in the study is free. Priority will be given to universities with a special status in the selection of those wishing to participate. Scientists from other universities are invited if there are free places.

The topic of the seminar/training:
“Modern methods of scientific research and writing an article for Scopus or Web of Science journals”

The training will be conducted by graduates-doctors of science (Ph.D.) of Western universities with extensive experience in this field.

Dates of the seminar/training:
from January 10 to January 14, 2023.

There will be a selection of 25 participants according to certain criteria. (Those from universities with special status are given priority in the selection process.) This group will remain active on an ongoing basis until the final product is ready – an article for Scopus or Web of Science journals. All costs associated with participation in this seminar/training will be financed by the organizers, in particular the Erasmus Program, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the universities you represent.

1. Resume/ CV with the indication of publications and their references/sources (DOI, or number, year of issue of the journal). In case there is no link/source, you can upload your articles there as well.
2. Motivation letter, preferably in English, describing the potential topic of your research paper, including the relevance and relationship of the topic to existing theories and models in your field of research.
3. A completed questionnaire to assess the suitability of your qualifications for participation in this seminar/training.

Only selected candidates will be invited to an online interview.
