On 16th of July 2019 Ambassador Mr. Eduard Auer, Head of the EU Delegation to the Kyrgyz Republic, visited the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University, accompanied by Ms. Gulnara Chokusheva, National Coordinator of the Erasmus+ Programme in Kyrgyzstan.
Dr. Rysbek Nurgaziev, Rector of KNAU, acquainted the guests with the mission of the university, history, outstanding graduates, the material and technical base of the university.
During the meeting Dr. Rysbek Nurgaziev emphasized the importance of Erasmus + projects, funded by the European Union on the development of the university, the impact of the results of Tempus / Erasmus + projects on improving the quality of education.
Representatives of the international department spoke about the cooperation of KNAU with universities in Europe, about ongoing Erasmus+ projects on academic mobility and CBHE projects, implemented by KNAU.
At the end of the meeting, a tour of the university was organized, the delegation also visited the centers opened as part of the Tempus and Erasmus + projects as well as the veterinary laboratory.
