The roundtable was held as part of the Erasmus + DERECKA project aimed at modernizing PhD programs. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, Erasmus+ National Office, DERECKA project, Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Razakov KGTU, International Higher School of Medicine, IUK, Osh State University, Kyrgyz State University of Construction, Transport and Architecture, Kyrgyz National Agrarian University and national experts on higher education reforms.
Participants of the roundtable acknowledged the importance and necessity of implementing PhD programs in Kyrgyzstan and emphasized the role of Erasmus+ “DERECKA” in the implementation of PhD programs in the Kyrgyz Republic and the quality of services provided by these schools.
During the roundtable, the results of the universities involved in the project “DERECKA” were summarized, and the existing challenges in the implementation of programs and the necessary steps for further cooperation were discussed. A resolution was adopted based on the results of the discussions.
