Today, on December 22, 2022, the EU Erasmus+ 2022 Information Day was held at the International University of Kyrgyzstan.
The purpose of the information day was to contribute to the reform of higher education in the Kyrgyz Republic through the implementation of projects through the universities of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The objectives of the event were also:
– To expand the coverage of the Erasmus+ program in the Kyrgyz Republic by attracting more new participants (HEIs);
– Increase the relevance and quality of project proposals for CBHE and Jean Monnet;
– Increase the awareness of universities about the priorities of the Erasmus+ program;
– To exchange experience and networking between universities on writing and implementation of projects.
The information day was attended by staff of the international departments of universities and interested representatives of the faculty of universities of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The event included presentations on all components of Erasmus+ programs. The topic of trends in the development of higher education in the Kyrgyz Republic was presented by L.Y. Marchenko, KRSU. Nazgul Turdubekova, an expert on inclusive education, Director of the League for the Protection of Children’s Rights, spoke about trends in the development of inclusive education in the Kyrgyz Republic. Nurlan Omurov, an expert on reforming higher education in the Kyrgyz Republic, spoke about “The vision of the university: University 4.0”. The International Department of the MUA Ala-Too University, the International Graduate School of Medicine, and the OSCE Academy shared their best practices in implementing various components of the program.
About 110 people participated in the Erasmus+ information day.
