On 25th September in KSTU named after I.Razzakov was the official opening of the laboratory ” Tele-teaching ” under Erasmus+ project ” Advancing University Education in Biomedical Engineering and Health Management in Kyrgyzstan (KyrMEDU)” .

One of the project’s main objectives is to install a healthcare training lab. Since the budget for the healthcare sector in Kyrgyzstan is limited the appropriate equipment which will be provided via a sharing model which will allow all partner universities to use the healthcare training lab for educating staff and students.

The intended project aims to gather knowledge about the real conditions and future perspective of the healthcare sector in Central Asia. It comprises the aspect of the ability to distribute the educational process, given the scarce resource of equipment and teachers and also the aspect of the applicability of complex medical devices.

The event was attended by representatives of partner universities, the National Coordinator of the Erasmus + program in Kyrgyzstan, Ms. G. Chokusheva and representatives of the Ministry of Health.
