The National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan conducted a seminar on “Institutional Accreditation for Quality Assurance in Higher Education in KR” on 20 January 2016 at the Kyrgyz National University n.a. J.Balasagyn. The event was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of KR, international organization in the field of education, central and regional higher education institutions. During the seminar there were discussed the following topics such as the main differences between the Institutional and Programme accreditation, best practices of using Institutional Accreditation in EU countries, Standards and Quality Criteria of Institutional Accreditation as well as Recommendation for development of Programmes for Expert training. The presentations were made and the discussions was led by Mr. Vettori Oliver, the EC expert.
