Erasmus+ ChatBot

On March 18, 2026, a seminar on Erasmus+ project writing was successfully held at Kyrgyz State Technical University. The event was jointly organized by the National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan and KSTU, bringing together faculty members, researchers, master’s students, and doctoral candidates.

The seminar aimed to strengthen participants’ capacity to develop competitive Erasmus+ project proposals. It focused on helping attendees structure their project ideas using the university’s internal application format as a foundation for participation in international mobility, capacity-building, and strategic partnership opportunities.

The seminar gathered a total of 58 participants, including 21 men and 37 women, reflecting strong interest and engagement from the academic community.

The seminar was opened by the Vice-Rector for International Relations at KSTU, who welcomed participants and emphasized the importance of project-based international cooperation for the university’s development.

During the main session, National Coordinator of the Erasmus+ Programme in Kyrgyzstan, presented current Erasmus+ funding opportunities, including Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) and Jean Monnet actions. She also highlighted the priorities and requirements of grant providers for 2026, provided guidance on building strong international consortia, and discussed common mistakes observed in applications from Kyrgyzstan.

The session was followed by an interactive Q&A, where participants had the opportunity to clarify key aspects of the application process.

In the second part of the seminar, representatives of KSTU spoke about partner search and academic mobility, emphasizing the role of the International Relations Department in establishing sustainable cooperation with foreign universities. They also shared practical examples of successful Erasmus+ projects and insights into their implementation.

The seminar concluded with closing remarks and an additional Q&A session, allowing participants to reflect on the knowledge gained and discuss potential project ideas.

This seminar contributed to enhancing the institutional capacity of KSTU in Erasmus+ project development and encouraged greater engagement of academic staff and students in international cooperation initiatives.
