On June 6, 2017, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, the National Office of the European Union Program Erasmus + in Kyrgyz Republic and the Association of Higher Educational Institutions of Kyrgyz Republic held a round table on the management of higher educational institutions in the context of globalization.
The aim of the round table is to attract the attention of the top management of universities to the changing conditions in the market of higher education in the context of globalization and the necessary changes in the system of higher education at the national level.
With the main presentation at the round table was made by doctor and professor Liviu Matei, an expert on the reform of higher education in the European Union, who has experience in universities in Romania, Hungary and the US, conducted extensive consultations on higher education policies and implemented research projects on applied policy for the World Bank, UNESCO, OSCE, Council of Europe, European The Commission, and other international organizations (intergovernmental and non – governmental), national authorities and universities in Europe and Asia. As a result of the roundtable, resolutions were adopted with recommendations for improving the development of higher education in Kyrgyzstan.
