On 18 November 2024, over 50 key stakeholders convened in Bishkek to review the progress and impact of EU-funded education projects implemented across Kyrgyzstan in 2023–2024. The event provided a collaborative platform to share best practices, assess challenges, and align EU-supported initiatives with national education goals.
Participants included officials from the Ministry of Education and Science, EU Delegation representatives, university leaders, Erasmus+ project coordinators, alumni, and civil society actors. The agenda featured case studies from Capacity Building projects, insights from Jean Monnet initiatives, and alumni testimonials highlighting the transformative power of academic mobility.
Discussions focused on embedding project outcomes into national systems, enhancing institutional cooperation, and formulating practical recommendations for future Erasmus+ calls. A post-event summary brief will capture the key outcomes and guide the next phase of EU–Kyrgyzstan education cooperation.
