On November 10, 2025, the National Coordinator of the Erasmus+ Programme in the Kyrgyz Republic held a working consultation with representatives of Issyk-Kul State University named after K. Tynystanov.

During the meeting, the university’s project proposals were thoroughly reviewed, prepared under the components of the Erasmus+ Programme, in particular under the components “Capacity Building in Higher Education” and “Jean Monnet.”

The National Coordinator of the Erasmus+ Programme in the Kyrgyz Republic provided participants with detailed comments on the content and structure of the project proposals, highlighted the strengths of the submitted initiatives, and identified possible areas for their improvement. In addition, practical recommendations were given on how to enhance the quality of the applications, improve the logical structure of the projects, and ensure their compliance with the requirements of the European Commission.

Special attention during the consultation was paid to the sustainability of project results, the importance of international cooperation, and the strengthening of the university’s academic potential.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their readiness for further collaboration and emphasized the importance of Kyrgyz universities’ participation in Erasmus+ programmes, which contribute to the integration of the national higher education system into the broader European Education Area.
