In 2016 a total of 1,163 eligible applications were received, up from 1,088 under the first round of the 2015 call. Onaverage, eachproposal included 5-6 Partner Countries. Ultimately 670 projects were selected for funding; bringing the success rate of funded proposals to 58%, up from 53% after the first round of the 2015 Call.
Aggregated first round data indicates that 33,750 mobile participants will be funded, an increase of more than 30% compared to the first round of the 2015 call. Around 21,600 mobilities will be incoming to Europe and 12,150 outgoing to Partner Countries. The share of outgoing mobilities from Europe has increased from 33% of the total under the 2015 call to 36% this year.
