On July 18, 2025, the National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan held an online consultation session for the team of Osh Technological University (OshTU) to support their involvement in Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) projects.

As a new grant holder under the 2025 CBHE call, OshTU is stepping into the international higher education cooperation space for the first time. The session provided practical guidance on project management, including financial and administrative procedures, and offered insights into successful practices from more experienced universities in Kyrgyzstan. The Erasmus+ team also addressed specific questions from OshTU’s representatives to help ensure a smooth start to their project implementation.

The consultation marked an important first step for Osh Technological University in engaging with Erasmus+ Capacity Building projects and international academic cooperation. By receiving tailored guidance and practical recommendations, the university gained a clearer understanding of project management responsibilities, financial procedures, and administrative workflows required for successful implementation.

The National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan reaffirmed its commitment to supporting OshTU throughout the project lifecycle, emphasizing the importance of continuous communication, compliance, and sustainability. This initial support lays a strong foundation for OshTU’s effective participation in Erasmus+ initiatives and its further integration into the European higher education cooperation framework.
