October 26, the American University of Central Asia hosted a lecture on educational opportunities in the European Union as part of the European Year of Youth. More than 40 students and about 10 professors took part in the event. Cosimo Lamberti Fossati, Program Manager at the EU Delegation, told about EU programs for youth. Gulnara Isaeva, National Coordinator of Erasmus+ in Kyrgyzstan, in her turn, outlined opportunities of the Erasmus+ program for students and teachers.

On October 25, 2022, the National Erasmus + Office held an information day for students and teachers of Manas University. The purpose of the information day was to provide information about the program and its components in which Kyrgyzstan can take part as a partner country. During the event, NEO staff provided detailed information on the components: “International Credit Mobility”, “Capacity Building in Higher Education”, “Jean Monnet”.

On October 24, 2022, the NEO team organized a leadership training for rectors of higher education institutions and experts in higher education reform in the Kyrgyz Republic at the Kyrgyz State University named after I.
