Seminar on “Developing entrepreneurial skills: a new challenge for universities“ was conducted at the Diplomatic Academy named after Kazi Dikambaev on 20 September 2018 with the support of the National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan.

Welcoming speech was made by Ms.Guldastan Berdikulova, Project Manager of the National Erasmus+ Ofice in Kyrgyzstan.

The aim of this seminar was to discuss challenges of the educational system, best practices of EU universities and best practices in the development and provision of entrepreneurial knowledge and skills to students, researchers.

The training was conducted by Ms. Chinara Adamkulova, Rector of Diplomatic Academy of the MFA, Teamleader of National HERE team and Mr. Mirlan Chynybaev – Vice-rector for Academic Affairs of KSTU, member of National HERE team, Ms.Nurgul Daminova, member of National HERE team. Representatives of all universities took part.

During the meeting, participants and speakers discussed following topics.
1. The role of universities in developing entrepreneurial skills
2. Experience of EU universities in business activities
3. “Introduction to business” structure of a new course for non-economic fields.
