On December 3, 2018, the National Erasmus + Office in Kyrgyzstan conducted a preventive monitoring of the Erasmus+ CBHE project Environmental Protection in Central Asia (EPCA):
Disaster Risk Management with Spatial Methods on the basis of the Kyrgyz State University. I. Arabaev.

The goal of this project is sustainable capacity building on using spatial methods for a better environmental protection to reduce disaster risks in Central Asia

The Coordinator of the EPCA project is the Lund University, Kyrgyzstan, represented by 2 partner universities:

  • Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev
  • Osh State University

The project team of two universities and associated partners took part in the monitoring.

During the monitoring, the results were reviewed on the project implementation, activities carried out within the project, as well as strategies for ensuring sustainability, quality and dissemination of information.

In total the project team show good result for the first monitoring.
