December 1, 2017 the monitoring of the project Erasmus+ “International University Cooperation on Land Protection in European-Asiatic Countries (IUCLAND)” was held on the basis of the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I.Razzakov. The monitoring visit was conducted by the National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan.

2 Kyrgyz HEIs such as KSTU ans OshTU involve in this project as a partners.

Welcome speech was made by the Rector of Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I.Razzakov, Dr. Murataly Dzhamanbaev. In his speech he highlighted the relevance of the project, as land degradation is a global problem and requires attention to decision problems in this field.

During the monitoring visit, country coordinator — Dr. Tashtanbay Sartov and coordinator of Osh Techological University Dr. Shamshiev made presentations on the achievements of the project.

In the framework of the IUCLAND project was made analysis of the status of land degradation, developed study program, which is integrated in the educational process. During the implementation of the project joint workshops and meetings, webinars as well as summer school were organized.

Reports and scientific articles based on the results of the Summer school were published in scientific journals Kyrgyzstan and planned publish them in European scientific journals.
