Today, at the National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan, Idris Kadyrkulov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic in Moldova, Bulgaria, Ukraine, and Romania, paid a visit.
The main aim of the meeting was to strengthen internationalization and foster partnerships between universities through the joint implementation of Erasmus+ projects in collaboration with higher education institutions from Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, and Bulgaria, promoting academic exchange and collaborative initiatives.
During the meeting, the Ambassador reported that an agreement was signed with the Bucharest Polytechnic University to provide scholarship support (free tuition funded by the Romanian side) to 10 students from the Kyrgyz Republic in technical specialties (bachelor’s and master’s degrees, with an additional quota for doctoral studies).
The students will have the option to choose from English, German, French, and Romanian as the language of instruction at the university. Accommodation will be provided to the students (approximately costing 100 euros per month). If needed, there is also provision for a one-year preparatory course at the University to develop language proficiency.
This agreement opens up new opportunities for students from Kyrgyzstan, allowing them to receive high-quality education at a prestigious university with scholarship support and diverse language options.
