The National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan took part in the International Education Week, a large-scale educational event organized with the support of the U.S. Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic. Over the course of three days, the fair brought together embassies, international education programmes, and institutions to present global academic opportunities to Kyrgyz youth.
Each day of the event was held at a different venue across Bishkek, including the Bayalinov Library, Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn, and Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razakov. Throughout the week, representatives from Erasmus+ provided consultations to students, faculty members, and parents, offering detailed information on study, exchange, and scholarship opportunities in Europe.
Erasmus+, the EU’s flagship programme for education, training, youth and sport, was proud to present its wide range of academic mobility options, including Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees, short-term exchanges, staff mobility, and capacity-building projects.
International Education Week 2022 marked a significant moment in Kyrgyzstan as diplomatic missions and international organizations joined forces to provide unified access to global education pathways. For many Kyrgyz students, the event served as a launchpad toward exploring and planning their academic journeys abroad.
Erasmus+ remains committed to supporting the aspirations of Kyrgyz youth and strengthening educational cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the European Union. It was a pleasure to be a part of this event, thanks for the organization @usembassybishkek
