An International seminar on “European best practices on Major-Minor Educational Programme Development “ topic was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, from 13 to 14 April 2018. The event was organized by the NEO in Kazakhstan in cooperation with the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).

The aim of the seminar was to introduce participants with the EU approaches in the development of interdisciplinary study programmes including basic and additional trajectories (Major-Minor).
During the 2 days, participants discussed the methodologies and gained experience in designing and revising curricula, using the International Standard Classification of Education Development (ISCED-2013).

Representatives of Kyrgyzstan, the speaker – Nurkiz Suerkulova and experts in the field of higher education – Aigul Nuralieva and Nurgul Daminova, took part in the event.
