The National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan is pleased to announce that our Higher Education Reform Experts (HEREs) actively participated and delivered presentations at the traditional Annual Conference of HEREs in Uzbekistan.

This year, the conference, titled “Perspectives of Higher Education Development in Uzbekistan,” was held as an international Erasmus+ event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of cooperation between the European Union and Uzbekistan under the Tempus (1994–2014) and Erasmus+ (2014–2024) programmes. Delegations from the National Erasmus+ Offices and HEREs teams of Central Asia—Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Tajikistan—were invited as honoured guests and speakers.

Our experts contributed to discussions on various topics, including the digitalization and internationalization of higher education, innovative teaching methodologies, and strategies for strengthening regional cooperation. The event also facilitated knowledge exchange and highlighted best practices and challenges in implementing Erasmus+ projects across the region.

The conference programme included plenary sessions, panel discussions, and parallel thematic sections focusing on key areas such as the Bologna Process, credit systems, and the role of universities in sustainable development. A special forum on scientific information access and publication activity was also organized, supported by HEREs and representatives of leading publication companies.

We are proud to have contributed to fostering regional collaboration and advancing innovation in higher education.
