On 10-11 September 2015 an International Conference “Innovation potentials of eLearning for higher education” was held in the framework of the European Union programme “TEMPUS” project «Introduction of Quality Management in e-learning at the Central Asian universities (QAMEL) » with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science, Kyrgyz Association of Distance Education and Bishkek Academy of Finance and Economics.
The conference was attended by experts related to eLearning, from all regions of the republic and foreign universities participating in the project TEMPUS “Introduction of Quality Management in e-learning at the Central Asian universities (QAMEL)” Germany, Lithuania, France, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan). The implementation of this project is important for the education system of the Kyrgyz Republic, as it will introduce a holistic approach to eLearning that focuses on quality assurance and control.
