On the 24th and 25th of September 2015 on basis of the conference hall of the Plaza hotel, International School of Medicine conducted the International conference “Central Asian Network for Education, Research and Innovation in Environmental Health” within the CANERIEH project of the TEMPUS programme. .
Main objectives of the project were the increase of innovative potential of teachers of six Central Asian medical universities, two scientific institutes and two NGO in their scientific and pedagogical activity, strengthening of cooperation of Central Asian and European universities in public health area, in particular in Environmental Health.
At the conference, the results of implementation of the project in the Central Asian countries (introduction and realization of PhD programs, creation of a network of the Centers of innovations in science and education, professional development of teaching structure of universities, expansion of cooperation with foreign partners) are summed up, and the issues of implementation of PhD programs are discussed.
