on November 29, 2022 the staff of Karasayev Bishkek Humanitarian University (BHU) gathered for an informative session on the various components of the Erasmus+ program, which offers exciting opportunities for Kyrgyz higher education institutions (HEIs). The session, led by Gulnara Isayeva, the National Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) in Kyrgyzstan, aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the program and its potential benefits for Kyrgyz HEIs.

During the session, Gulnara Isayeva provided detailed explanations of the different components of the Erasmus+ program available to Kyrgyz HEIs. She highlighted the opportunities for student and staff mobility, capacity-building projects, and strategic partnerships with European institutions. The participants gained insights into the eligibility criteria, application process, and expected outcomes of each component.

Following the informative session, a brief training session on Erasmus+ project writing was conducted specifically for the staff of the International Relationship Department at Bishkek Humanitarian University (BHU). The training aimed to enhance the project writing skills of the department’s staff, equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary to develop successful Erasmus+ project proposals.

The training session covered essential aspects of project writing, including understanding the program’s objectives, formulating clear and achievable project goals, identifying relevant work packages, and establishing effective partnerships. The participants learned about best practices in project writing, including developing logical frameworks and writing compelling narratives that align with the program’s priorities.

The session provided an opportunity for staff members from BHU’s International Relationship Department to enhance their capacity to initiate, manage, and implement Erasmus+ projects.

The session concluded with a lively discussion, allowing participants to ask questions and seek clarifications on specific aspects of the Erasmus+ program and project writing.
