Jean Monnet Activities.
An important element of the event was practical presentations by Kyrgyzstani universities already participating in Erasmus+ projects, including the successful CBHE BERNICA project of Osh State University. The showcased cases inspired participants to actively engage in new calls for proposals and to expand partnership networks with European universities.
What is Erasmus+ and how can one participate?
Erasmus+ is the largest education programme of the European Union, aimed at supporting academic mobility, digital transformation, innovation, and sustainable development in education. Universities in Kyrgyzstan can participate in programme calls in cooperation with European universities by forming consortia and developing projects focused on the modernization and internationalization of higher education.
The event in Osh marked another step toward the active and equal participation of universities in southern Kyrgyzstan in the pan-European education area. The outcomes of the Information Day confirmed the growing interest in international cooperation and the readiness of regional universities to embrace new educational challenges and opportunities.
