On April 14, 2023, the National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan held an informative session at the Kyrgyz-Uzbek University to introduce the Erasmus+ programme to students and academic staff. During the session, comprehensive information was shared on all key components of the Erasmus+ programme, including International Credit Mobility, Joint Master Degrees, Capacity Building in Higher Education, and Jean Monnet activities. The participants received guidance on application procedures, eligibility criteria, and opportunities for both students and teaching staff. Particular attention was paid to the Joint Master Degrees component, which sparked great interest among students. This component offers the unique opportunity to study in at least two European countries and benefit from a high-quality international education experience. The meeting provided an excellent platform to encourage academic mobility and foster stronger cooperation between Kyrgyz and European higher education institutions.
