On 26 April 2024, the National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan hosted a national experience exchange meeting on “Enhancing ICT Skills and Digitalization through Erasmus+ CBHE Projects.” The event took place at Kyrgyz State Technical University and brought together 26 participants, including representatives from higher education institutions, Erasmus+ project teams, digitalization experts, and private sector stakeholders.

The aim of the meeting was to foster collaboration, share innovative practices, and discuss strategies for accelerating the digital transformation of higher education in Kyrgyzstan. Participants explored tools and solutions developed within Erasmus+ CBHE projects, including e-learning platforms, digital pedagogical approaches, and infrastructure support mechanisms.

Key speakers included Eduard Turdaliev, Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic on digitalization, and coordinators of the GREEN KG and HIEDTECH projects. The programme featured project presentations, expert panels, hands-on demonstrations, and group discussions focusing on the integration of ICT in curricula, challenges in digital readiness, and opportunities for institutional cooperation.

As a result of the event, participants identified common digital infrastructure needs and proposed the creation of a joint working group on digital transformation. The meeting concluded with a call for continued exchange of practices and the organization of future thematic workshops to support digital education across the country.
