On December 17, 2025, the Higher Education Reform Experts (HERE) community and National Erasmus+ Offices (NEOs) from across the region gathered virtually for the 2025 HERE Networking Meeting. Under the theme “From Impact to Action: Strengthening Communication and Collaboration among HEREs,” the event served as a platform to showcase how academic expertise translates into tangible national policy reforms.
The meeting, conducted via Zoom in the Central European Time zone, opened with a strategic focus on making the work of HEREs more visible. Participants discussed communication tools and strategies to ensure that the results of Erasmus+ activities reach wider audiences, including policymakers, students, and the general public.
A major highlight of the event was the session “HERE Impact Stories: What Worked and Why.” During the “Impact Pitches” segment a member of the HERE team in Kyrgyzstan, represented the country as a keynote speaker.
Proffesor presented a compelling case study on how HERE activities have directly influenced the Kyrgyz higher education landscape. Her presentation focused on:
- National Policy Reform: How specific initiatives have contributed to the modernization of academic standards in Kyrgyzstan.
- Best Practices: Sharing the methodological approaches that made Kyrgyz projects successful.
- Knowledge Exchange: Engaging with peers from Morocco, Lebanon, and Tajikistan to compare regional strategies for educational excellence.
The meeting concluded with a presentation of the SPHERE 2026 Programme, outlining upcoming events and new opportunities for Kyrgyz experts to engage with the global Erasmus+ community.
The National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan remains committed to supporting our experts as they continue to lead the way in educational innovation.
