On February 24, 2026, the National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) in the Kyrgyz Republic organized a comprehensive consultation session with representatives of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic named after K.Dikambaev. The session was held as part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration between Kyrgyz educational institutions and the Erasmus+ programme, ensuring smooth participation in international mobility and capacity-building initiatives.
During the consultation, the NEO team welcomed the newly appointed rector of the Diplomatic Academy and provided a detailed orientation on the use of the Erasmus+ FTOP platform. The demonstration included step-by-step guidance on how to submit applications, track project statuses, and access program resources, helping the Academy integrate Erasmus+ processes into their institutional workflows effectively.
The NEO experts also discussed upcoming Erasmus+ opportunities, including student and staff mobility, joint master’s programs, and international partnerships. Special attention was given to practical tips on managing Erasmus+ grants, reporting requirements, and accessing digital tools provided by the European Commission to support program participants.
The consultation served as an opportunity for the Diplomatic Academy’s leadership and administrative staff to ask questions, clarify procedures, and explore ways to strengthen international cooperation through Erasmus+. Participants highlighted the importance of ongoing support from the National Erasmus+ Office in navigating program platforms and ensuring compliance with application and reporting standards.
The session concluded with an agreement to continue close collaboration, with the NEO offering follow-up support and additional guidance.
