🌾 National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan participates in the two-day forum “Contribution of higher education institutions to the development of sustainable agri-food production systems in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan”. 🌾
The event organized within the framework of Erasmus+ AgroDev project. The purpose of the Forum is to demonstrate the results, achievements and impact of the AgroDev project, as well as to provide a discussion platform for exchange of experience and ideas on the role of educational institutions in the sustainable development of the economies of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
Within the framework of the AgroDev project, through active interaction of stakeholders, the needs in the content of higher education that meets the needs of the agro-industrial complex were identified. This allowed introducing new knowledge into existing curricula at four universities in Central Asia, thus providing the agro-industry sector with the tools necessary to develop new and improve existing agricultural practices, create innovations, and introduce new technologies, which contributed to an increase in agricultural production, technologies, and thus contributed to the competitiveness of agro-enterprises. This is a significant contribution to the economic and social development of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, and especially their regions.
The Forum brought together representatives of government agencies, producers, scientific organizations, students and international organizations.🌿✨
