On 30 March, 2016 on the basis of the Kyrgyz National University anmed after J. Balasagyn was held monitoring of the Tempus project “Institute for Strategic Management of Universities» (ISMU).
Progress reports were made by the coordinators of the KNU, Adamkulova CH and AUPKR Davletova A.
This project began in 2011 under Tempus IV.
The purpose of the project is to improve the institutions of higher education governance and management through the provision of highly qualified middle and senior level through the creation of the International Institute for Strategic Management of Universities.
The Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Barcelona, Spain) is a coordinator of this project, as a partners in this project were Kyrgyz universities, in particular KNU, Academy of Management under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During this project the top managers of the universities were able to improve their skills in project management and strategic management of higher education institutions in the leading foreign educational centers such as the Politecnico di Torino, the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, the Royal Institute of Technology, as well as local educational
