On October 13, 2023, an Erasmus+ Information Day was held at Issyk-Kul State University named after K. Tynystanov for students and academic staff.
The session provided a comprehensive overview of the main components of the Erasmus+ Programme:
-
International Credit Mobility (ICM): Students learned about opportunities to study abroad at partner universities in Europe with full financial support.
-
Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees (EMJMD): Participants were introduced to fully funded master’s programmes offered by European university consortia.
-
Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE): Faculty members were informed about project-based collaboration to modernize curricula, teaching methods, and university governance.
-
Jean Monnet Activities: Teachers and researchers explored possibilities for promoting excellence in European studies through teaching, research, and policy dialogue.
The event encouraged active engagement from students and staff, highlighting Erasmus+ as a gateway to international academic cooperation and mobility. The National Erasmus+ Office continues to promote access to European education and foster capacity development across higher education institutions in Kyrgyzstan.
