On March 12, 2019, the Information Session on “Erasmus +: Study in Europe” for students was held in the office of the French Alliance.
The event was organized as part of the Francophonie Week, a festival of the French language and cultures, annually organized by the French Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The event was attended by Ambassador Eduard Auer, Head of the European Union Delegation to the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Michael Roux, French Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic, Ms. Catherine Pujol, Director of the French Institute for Central Asia Studies (IFEAC), Ms. Guldastan Berdikulova, Project Manager of the National Erasmus + Office in Kyrgyzstan, Ms. Galina Gorborukova, Head of the General Education Programs Division, AUCA.

Welcoming speeches were made by Ambassador of France to the Kyrgyz Republic Michael Roux, and Ambassador Eduard Auer, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Kyrgyzstan. In their speech, they highlighted the uniqueness of the Erasmus + program and encouraged students to use this opportunity to gain the best academic knowledge in Europe.

Detailed information on the possibilities of the Erasmus + program for students, on the selection criteria, on the rules of participation were presented by Ms. Guldastan Berdikulova, Project Manager of the National Erasmus + Office in Kyrgyzstan.

Ms. Galina Gorborukova, Head of the Educational Programs Division, AUCA shared AUCA’s experience in implementing projects on academic mobility.

Over 70 students from various universities received answers to their questions about the Erasmus+ program.
