On November 23, 2023, an Erasmus+ information session titled “Scholarship Master’s Programmes and Education in Europe” was held at the Eastern Campus of MUK University (НОУ УНПК «МУК») for students of the Translation and Translation Studies programme. The event was initiated by the Department of Linguistics and featured Aizhamal Toigozhoeva, Communications Specialist at the National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan.

During the session, Ms. Toigozhoeva delivered a detailed presentation on the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees, outlining the admission criteria, required documentation, scholarship benefits, and living conditions in European countries. She emphasized that more than 200 new programmes are expected to open in December 2023, encouraging students to apply for fully funded Erasmus+ scholarships in their field of interest.

The presentation sparked strong interest and an engaging discussion. Students actively asked questions and expressed their motivation to pursue academic mobility through Erasmus+. At the end of the session, the most active participants were awarded Erasmus+ branded gifts.

The Department of Linguistics and the students expressed sincere gratitude to Ms. Toigozhoeva for the insightful session and valuable practical advice on studying abroad.
