On October 8, 2025, the National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan held a consultation with representatives of the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute to support their participation in the Erasmus+ Programme.
During the meeting, the NEO team presented the main Erasmus+ components — including Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE), International Credit Mobility (ICM), and Erasmus Mundus — highlighting current opportunities for universities to strengthen their international cooperation and academic development.
Participants discussed project design strategies, partnership building with European institutions, and examples of successful proposals from previous years. The session aimed to enhance institutional readiness for the upcoming Erasmus+ call for proposals.
The National Erasmus+ Office is glad to provide support, and looks forward to the active participation of the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute in future Erasmus+ initiatives.
The consultation significantly enhanced the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute’s capacity to participate effectively in Erasmus+ programmes. By providing detailed explanations of CBHE, ICM, and Jean Monnet, the session ensured that participants understood how to align their projects with European standards and programme priorities.
Overall, the consultation reinforced the institute’s readiness to engage in Erasmus+ initiatives, fostered confidence among staff and administrators, and highlighted the strategic importance of international mobility and cooperation in enhancing academic excellence. The session contributes to the long-term goal of integrating Kyrgyz higher education institutions into broader European networks and promoting sustainable international partnerships.
