On April 5, 2021, the National Erasmus + Office in Kyrgyzstan organized online meeting of Erasmus+ CBHE projects selected for funding based on the results of the 6th call proposals.

The aims of the meeting was to familiarize with the procedures of the Erasmus + program including practical issues of project implementation.

In 2020, 39 projects were submitted with the participation of Kyrgyz universities and 3 projects out of them were selected for funding:

1. Developing Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Programmes and Strengthening Research
Networks in Geoinformation Technologies in Armenia and Kyrgyzstan (GeoTAK)

2.Harmonization and mutual recognition of MSc programmes in Occupational and Environmental Health (HARMONE)

3. Development of Higher Education Content Aimed to Support Industries for Sustainable Production of Qualitative Agri-food (AgroDev)

The National Coordinator of the Erasmus+ program in Kyrgyzstan acquainted the participants with the procedures of the Erasmus+ program. During the meeting special attention was paid to the issues of ensuring the quality of curricula development, project implementation in accordance with the project work plan, logical matrix, measures for the sustainability of the project, as well as achieving the project objectives taking into account the current situation with COVID.

According to the program, representatives of the GeoTAK, HARMONEE and AgroDEV projects made presentations about their objectives and activities.

The event was attended by the project teams, representatives of international departments of Kyrgyz universities as well as HEREs.
