In total, 874 eligible applications were submitted by the 8 February 2018 deadline (6% more than in 2017). Of the 179 countries eligible for funding, 135 were included in applications this year (of which 32 of the 33 Programme Countries, and 103 of 146 eligible Partner Countries), covering all world regions.

The Evaluation Committee recommended a total of 147 applications for EU funding, of which 133 are Joint Projects and 14 Structural Projects. This represents a success rate of 16.6 %, down from 17.9%

Among the selected projects, Kyrgyz universities will participate in the implementation of the following 3 projects, 2 joint projects and 1 structural project:
