On 22 January 2026, representatives of the National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan held an online consultation meeting with colleagues from Kyrgyz Economic University (KEU) as part of the university’s preparation of an application under the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) action.

The consultation was organised in response to practical questions raised by the KEU team during the application process. Discussions focused on CBHE procedures, key requirements, and common challenges related to proposal preparation, allowing participants to clarify technical and operational aspects of the programme.

The meeting brought together seven participants in total, including two representatives of the National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan and five representatives from Kyrgyz Economic University. The discussion was held in an open and constructive atmosphere, encouraging active engagement and detailed exchange of views. Among the participants, there was one male representative, while the remaining participants were women.

During the session, the National Erasmus+ Office provided guidance on Erasmus+ rules and procedures, shared practical recommendations based on previous CBHE experience, and addressed specific questions related to project design and compliance with programme requirements. The consultation aimed to support the KEU team in strengthening the quality and readiness of their CBHE application.

The National Erasmus+ Office in Kyrgyzstan continues to support higher education institutions across the country through consultations, information sessions, and capacity-building activities, contributing to increased participation and quality of Erasmus+ projects in Kyrgyzstan.
