{"id":9891,"date":"2026-02-05T13:24:26","date_gmt":"2026-02-05T09:24:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/erasmusplus.kg\/en\/?p=9891"},"modified":"2026-02-06T13:27:56","modified_gmt":"2026-02-06T09:27:56","slug":"consultation-for-the-medical-center-of-oshsu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/erasmusplus.kg\/en\/consultation-for-the-medical-center-of-oshsu\/","title":{"rendered":"Consultation on Obtaining a PIC Number for the Medical Center of Osh State University"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"91\" data-end=\"113\">\ud83d\udcc5 <strong data-start=\"94\" data-end=\"113\">5 February 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"115\" data-end=\"483\">On 5 February 2026, the <strong data-start=\"139\" data-end=\"190\">National Erasmus+ Office in the Kyrgyz Republic<\/strong> conducted an online consultation for representatives of the <strong data-start=\"243\" data-end=\"293\">Medical Center of Osh State University (OshSU)<\/strong>, focused on the <strong data-start=\"310\" data-end=\"381\">process of obtaining a PIC number (Participant Identification Code)<\/strong>, which is a mandatory requirement for participation in European Union programmes, including Erasmus+.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"485\" data-end=\"907\">During the consultation, experts from the National Erasmus+ Office provided detailed guidance on the <strong data-start=\"586\" data-end=\"647\">registration procedure in the EU Funding &amp; Tenders Portal<\/strong>, outlining the key steps for obtaining a PIC number, as well as the legal and financial documentation required. Particular attention was given to common challenges encountered during the registration process and practical recommendations on how to avoid them.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"909\" data-end=\"1442\">Participants were also informed about <strong data-start=\"947\" data-end=\"1032\">opportunities for medical and clinical institutions within the Erasmus+ Programme<\/strong>, with a specific focus on the <strong data-start=\"1063\" data-end=\"1111\">Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE)<\/strong> action. The discussion highlighted the potential involvement of the Medical Center of Osh State University in international projects aimed at <strong data-start=\"1254\" data-end=\"1289\">strengthening medical education<\/strong>, enhancing <strong data-start=\"1301\" data-end=\"1321\">staff capacities<\/strong>, modernising <strong data-start=\"1335\" data-end=\"1370\">training and clinical practices<\/strong>, and expanding <strong data-start=\"1386\" data-end=\"1441\">international academic and professional cooperation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1444\" data-end=\"1748\">The consultation was held in an interactive format, allowing participants to raise practical questions related to the next steps following PIC registration, possible roles of the medical center in Erasmus+ projects, and the integration of project outcomes into the university\u2019s institutional development.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1750\" data-end=\"2137\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The meeting took place in a <strong data-start=\"1778\" data-end=\"1820\">constructive and productive atmosphere<\/strong> and represented an important step towards increasing the international engagement of the Medical Center of Osh State University.
