The meeting served as a key platform to discuss the future of international mobility, policy developments, and the evolving role of Erasmus+ beyond 2026.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"896\" data-end=\"982\"><em><strong>Day 1 \u2013 International Mobility Seminar: Management, Impact, and Global Perspectives<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"984\" data-end=\"1351\">The first day opened with an <strong data-start=\"1013\" data-end=\"1047\">International Mobility Seminar<\/strong>, chaired by the\u00a0Head of Unit for International Capacity Building at EACEA. Welcome remarks by senior representatives of EACEA and the European Commission set the scene for in-depth discussions on the role of mobility in strengthening higher education systems and international cooperation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1395\" data-end=\"1644\">Panel discussions throughout the day focused on the practical and strategic aspects of managing <strong data-start=\"1491\" data-end=\"1521\">student and staff mobility<\/strong> under Erasmus+. Experts and practitioners from Europe, Africa, Latin America, and partner countries shared experiences on:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1645\" data-end=\"1840\">\n<li data-start=\"1645\" data-end=\"1702\">\n<p data-start=\"1647\" data-end=\"1702\">supporting students before, during, and after mobility,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1703\" data-end=\"1754\">\n<p data-start=\"1705\" data-end=\"1754\">ensuring quality, inclusiveness, and recognition,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1755\" data-end=\"1840\">\n<p data-start=\"1757\" data-end=\"1840\">using staff mobility as a tool for institutional development and capacity building.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1842\" data-end=\"2021\">Interactive table discussions allowed participants, including NEO representatives, to exchange practical solutions to common challenges faced in international mobility management.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1992\" data-end=\"2287\">A dedicated <strong data-start=\"2004\" data-end=\"2028\">Sandbox Game session<\/strong> introduced an innovative, interactive approach to understanding international mobility management. Participants worked in mixed regional groups to simulate real-life decision-making scenarios related to mobility planning, implementation, and problem-solving.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2289\" data-end=\"2345\">The Sandbox Game allowed NEOs and other stakeholders to: test strategic choices in a risk-free environment, better understand the perspectives of different actors involved in mobility, and reflect on how policy decisions translate into practical outcomes.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2552\" data-end=\"2768\">This hands-on activity proved particularly valuable for NEOs from <strong data-start=\"2618\" data-end=\"2634\">Central Asia<\/strong>, as it offered practical insights that can be applied when advising institutions and stakeholders on Erasmus+ mobility opportunities.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2058\" data-end=\"2522\">A dedicated panel addressed the <strong data-start=\"2090\" data-end=\"2129\">broader impact of Erasmus+ mobility<\/strong>, highlighting how international exchanges contribute not only to individual learning outcomes, but also to institutional reform, internationalisation strategies, and long-term cooperation between regions. Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) projects were presented as concrete examples of sustainable impact, particularly relevant for <strong data-start=\"2474\" data-end=\"2521\">Central Asian higher education institutions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2566\" data-end=\"2899\">The final panel of the day explored <strong data-start=\"2602\" data-end=\"2642\">mobility frameworks outside Erasmus+<\/strong>, offering insights into complementary programmes and international cooperation instruments. This discussion was particularly useful for NEOs, as it provided a broader context for advising institutions and students interested in international opportunities.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2901\" data-end=\"3059\">The day concluded with a networking session, encouraging cross-regional dialogue and the exchange of experiences among NEOs, ENFPs, and partner organisations.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3720\" data-end=\"3791\"><em><strong>Day 2 \u2013 Policy Developments, Regional Cooperation, and the NEO Focus<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3793\" data-end=\"3918\">The second day focused on <strong data-start=\"3819\" data-end=\"3842\">policy developments<\/strong>, programme implementation, and targeted sessions for NEOs, ENFPs, and ICPs.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3965\" data-end=\"4284\">Representatives of the European Commission presented recent and upcoming policy developments influencing Erasmus+, including international cooperation priorities, regional strategies, and global mobility trends. Particular attention was paid to regulatory and visa-related issues affecting effective mobility to Europe.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4356\" data-end=\"4515\">A central element of Day 2 was the <strong data-start=\"4391\" data-end=\"4406\">NEO meeting<\/strong>, which addressed the evolving role of National Erasmus+ Offices beyond 2026. Key discussion points included:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"4516\" data-end=\"4835\">\n<li data-start=\"4516\" data-end=\"4562\">\n<p data-start=\"4518\" data-end=\"4562\">future perspectives and positioning of NEOs,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4563\" data-end=\"4610\">\n<p data-start=\"4565\" data-end=\"4610\">effective NEO grant management and reporting,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4611\" data-end=\"4686\">\n<p data-start=\"4613\" data-end=\"4686\">timelines and requirements for the upcoming <strong data-start=\"4657\" data-end=\"4685\">NEO Invitation to Submit<\/strong>,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4687\" data-end=\"4753\">\n<p data-start=\"4689\" data-end=\"4753\">improved use of <strong data-start=\"4705\" data-end=\"4725\">SPHERE resources<\/strong> and cooperation with HEREs,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4754\" data-end=\"4835\">\n<p data-start=\"4756\" data-end=\"4835\">and communication strategies to enhance the visibility of Erasmus+ initiatives.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"4889\" data-end=\"5185\">During the <strong data-start=\"4900\" data-end=\"4926\">NEO regional workshops<\/strong>, representatives from <strong data-start=\"4949\" data-end=\"4965\">Central Asia<\/strong> engaged in focused discussions on shared priorities, challenges, and good practices. Topics included stakeholder engagement, outreach strategies, and alignment of Erasmus+ actions with national higher education reforms.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5187\" data-end=\"5347\">The Central Asia session underlined the importance of regional cooperation and coordinated approaches to strengthening the impact of Erasmus+ across the region.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5369\" data-end=\"5703\">The <strong data-start=\"5373\" data-end=\"5402\">NEO-ICP-ENFP Meeting 2026<\/strong> reaffirmed the central role of international mobility in Erasmus+ and highlighted the importance of <strong data-start=\"5503\" data-end=\"5532\">National Erasmus+ Offices<\/strong> in partner countries. For <strong data-start=\"5559\" data-end=\"5575\">Central Asia<\/strong>, including Kyrgyzstan, the meeting provided valuable policy insights, practical tools, and opportunities for regional
